Pauly Management are a London based Promotion, Artist and Live Events Management company. Founded in 2008, Paul Ketley has unearthed a treasure trove of up and coming artists, guiding them through the trickery of a very complicated music industry.
Iggsy Creative was approached to come up with a fresh new brand identity and logo for Pauly Management. When batting ideas around, one re-occuring theme was that a monkey of some sort was preferable somewhere in the design. My initial thought was that the brand needed to be bold, professional, engaging and above all artistic. I had recently become obsessed with a Tokyo based artist Yu Nagaba who creates striking artwork through the use of simple lines and unique style, It’s this artwork that I turned to for inspiration for the Pauly Management logo.
The PMP (Pauly Management & Promotion) logo is essentially constructed of two elements, the monkey symbol and the Pauly Management logotype – The monkey head is a completely bespoke design which subtly highlights the ‘PMP’ in the form of the monkeys ears and nose. The PMP logo will mostly be set in black or white. In certain situations the lock up of the logo can be set to the secondary palette.
