BruteStrength is an emerging gym apparel & accessories brand. The client was keen to use a wolf for the logo to achieve a more approachable brand which is a accessible to all, more than a few gym brands feature big, bruising animals such as rhino’s, bulls and crocodiles within their logos. BruteStrength wanted to show there was more to the brand than just pumping iron, the wolf isn’t just an athletic creature, it’s also high up there in the intelligence department making it the perfect choice, as is BruteStrength.
The logo features a bespoke font accompanied by the wolf graphic which works perfectly as a standalone logo. Brutestrength are entering a highly competitive market so the logo and branding had to give them so best possible start. Iggsy creative achieved this by drawing up the wolf character which was loosely contained in a circle shape to give the logo more appeal, it’s the slight difference between having an illustration instead of a logo.
The logo is being used in a number of different manners when applied to clothing and accessories, this is yet another reason why the logo had to be strong in its ability to portray the company with the aid of any text. The logo works seamlessly as a monochrome design, this allows it to be placed on light and dark surfaces, giving it the adaptability to have maximum impact.
An alternate logo was later added for use on labels and zips, this symbol makes use of the B and S from BruteStrength and is adapted to solve solutions where the main logo cannot fulfil.
